Adoration
of the Blessed Sacrament
Eucharistic adoration is the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament outside of the celebration of mass. The Blessed Sacrament is placed in the monstrance for silent worship. You are invited to spend quiet time in prayer, reflection or inspirational reading. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord who is truly present. Begins following 7:00 PM Mass Wednesdays, Ends at 8:45 AM Saturday (before 9:00 AM Mass)
La adoración eucarística es la adoración del Santísimo Sacramento fuera del contexto de la misa. El Santísimo Sacramento se coloca en la Custodia para adoración en silencio. Le invitamos a pasar un rato tranquilo en oración, reflexión o de lectura. Esta es una exelente oportunidad para profundizar su relación con el Señor quien está presente.
The ministry of assisting those parishioners who wish to pursue the annulment process is offered by the priests of the parish. An annulment (a Church declaration of nullity regarding the sacramentality of a previous marriage) is a mandatory requirement for any Christian who wishes to marry for a second or subsequent time in the Catholic Church. The process is completely confidential.
El ministerio de asistencia a aquellos feligreses que desean proceder con un procesi de nulidad de matrimonio es ofrecido por los sacerdotes de la parroquia. Una anulación matrimonial es un requerimiento obligatorio para cualquier cristiano que desea casarse por segunda vez en la Iglesia Católica. El proceso es completamente confidencial.

The Prayer Group meets each Thursday night (except for holidays) from 8:00-9:30 pm for the purpose of praising the Lord. We express our praise in songs, prayer, and silence. The Lord is present to those assembled through Scripture teachings, exhortation, charismatic gifts, and sharing. We sponsor both “Life in the Spirit” Seminars and Healing Masses in an effort to help those attending to establish or reestablish and deepen a personal relationship with our Risen Savior. All are welcome to attend these open meetings.
El Grupo de Oración se reune cada Jueves por la noche (exceptuando dias de fiesta) entre las 8:00pm y las 9:30pm para adorar al Señor. Le expresamos nuestra alabanza con canciones, oraciones y silencio. el Señor está junto a los que nos reunimos a través de la enseñanza de las Escrituras, la exhortación, regalos carismáticos y compartiendo. Nosotros patrocinamos los seminarios de "Vida en el Espiritu" y las Misas de Curación. Todo esto en un esfuerzo de establecer o re-establecer y profundizar una relación personal con el Señor Nuestro Salvador. Todos están bienvenidos a participar a estas reuniones.

Every week thirty six hours is devoted to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our Lady’s Chapel. The twenty-four hour period begins after the 7:00 PM Mass on Thursday and ends before the 9:00 am Mass on Saturday. You are invited to spend quiet time in prayer, reflection, or inspirational reading. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord who is truly present. All are invited to come and stay for a few minutes or as long as you would like. Adoration Guardians committed to stay with our Lord for an hour are needed. For information see the brochure available in the foyer or call the parish office.
Cada semana se dedican treinta y seis horas a la devoción por la adoración del Santísimo Sacramento en la Capilla de Nuestra Señora. La adoración comienza despues de la misa de las 7:00pm el Jueves y termina antes de la misa de las 9:00am del Sabado. Le invitamos a pasar un rato tranquilo en oración, reflexión y lectura. Esta es una excelente oportunidad para profundizar su relación con el Señor quien está allí presente. Todos están invitados a pasar unos minutos o tanto tiempo como quiera. Estamos en búsqueda de Guardianes de la Adoración que se compromentan a estar con Nuestro Señor por una hora. This daily gathering of the faithful seeks to encourage devotion to the Blessed Mother by praying the Rosary every weekday morning at 8:15 am and Saturday mornings after the 9:00 am Mass. Everyone is welcome to join.

GIFT for Men (Growing In Faith Together)
This program is designed to challenge men who are searching for a deeper relationship with Christ and to reach out to those men who want more catholic faith teaching, direction, and practical ways to minister to your family, friends, and workplace. GIFT meets on the first Wednesdays of each month beginning with mass at 6:30 pm.
Este programa esta diseñado para dsafiar a los hobres que estan en la búsqueda por una relación profunda con Cristo y llegar a aquellos hombres que quieren mas enseñanzas de la fe católica, dirección y maneras prácticas para enseñar a su familia, amigos y compañeros de trabajo. GIFT (Creciendo Juntos en la Fe) se reune los primeros Miércoles de cada mes precedido por ua misa a las 6:30pm.

This night of reflection is a monthly retreat for women who want to be enriched in their faith. It is held the third Wednesday of every month. Mass begins at 6:30 pm in the Church, followed by a light dinner in the Parish Life Center and two meditations by dynamic speakers. The sacrament of reconciliation is available during the evening.
Esta noche de reflexión es un retiro mensual para mujeres que quieren ser enriquecidas en su fe. Se lleva a cabo los terceros Miércoles de cada mes. La misa comienza a las 6:30pm en la Iglesia, seguida por una cena ligera en el Centro de Actividades Parroquial (PLC) y dos meditaciones por dinámicos expositores. El sacramento de la reconciliación está disponible durante esta noche.
Founded in Dublin Ireland en 1921, the Legion of Mary currently has 2,250,000 members in 160 countries. The object of the legion is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by personal satisfaction in active spiritual work.
St. Benedict’s Legion of Mary meets weekly on Monday mornings at 10:00 AM for recitation of the Rosary and a meeting to plan the apostolic work of the coming week. Presently our works include weekly rosary prayer meetings and a monthly masssaid at Edenbrook nursing home.
Marian
Servants of the Blessed Trinity
The Marian Servants of the Blessed Trinity is an archdiocesan community with a ministry at St. Benedict. Our mission is to bring others to a joyful and deeper understanding of their vocation and mission in Christ.
Recognizing the importance of a deeper relationship with God to our happiness here on earth, we take our role as active Christians seriously. Scripture, prayer, fasting, and the Sacraments are all vital components to our growth. We are charismatic and Marian in spirituality and consequently, we rely on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and Mary, our mother, who is our model of holiness, joyful obedience, and loving service. It is these threefold virtues that the Marian Servants want to emulate and share with the Church.
We meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month after the 7:00 pm Mass in the St. Benedict chapel. All are welcome to attend a meeting where we pray the rosary, and glorify God in song and teachings. We are committed to service and have several service projects each year. We always pray for our priests, and three of our members are certified to offer Spiritual Direction to the laity. We hope to establish a broader teaching ministry and a retreat ministry in the future. Come join us!

con un ministerio en San Benito. Nuestra
misión es llevar a otros a una comprensión alegre y profunda de su vocación y
misión en Cristo.

importancia de una profunda relación con Dios para nuestra felicidad aqui en la
tierra. Los componentes vitales
para nuestro crecimiento son la lectura de las escrituras, la oración, el ayuno
y la práctica de los Sacramentos. Nosotros
somos de una espiritualidad carismática y Mariana, por lo tanto dependemos de
los regalos del Espíritu Santo y Maria, nuestra madre, quien es nuestro modelo
de santidad, alegría, obediencia y amor a servir. Son estas tres virtudes que los Servidores Marianos queremos
imitar y compartir con la Iglesia.

It brings new life, new love, and new depth to married couples. Brochures and weekend dates are located in the foyer at the information center.
Esta es una oportunidad para que buenos matrimonios se conviertan en mejores matrimonios. Esta experiencia de 48 horas se enfoca en mejorar las habilidades de comunicación mediante la enseñanza de un método único de comunicación. El encuentro lleva nueva vida, nuevo amor y nueva profundidad a las parejas casadas. En la entrada de la iglesia se encuentran trípticos y las fechas del encuentro.
The Medjugorje Prayer Group focuses on prayer of the Rosary, reading the daily gospel readings, living Our Lady’s messages, and drawing closer to Jesus through Mary. The format of the prayer meetings is structured to include prayer and discussion to help one another to live a better life with Christ by letting Mary Our Mother take us by the hand to Her Son.
We invite you to join our prayer group whenever possible. For more information on Our Lady’s messages, please take a booklet from the board next to the sacristy. All are welcome to join us! We hope to see you there and may Jesus and Mary bless you all!
El grupo de oración de Medjugorje se enfoca en el Rosario, la lectura diaria del evangelio, la vivencia de los mensajes de Nuestra Señora y llegar a estar mas cerca de Jesús a traves de María. El formato de las reuniones de oración está estructurado para incluir la oración y la discusión para ayudarnos unos a otros a vivir una mejor vida con Cristo dejando que María Nuestra Madre nos lleve de la mano a Su Hijo.

The Men’s Fellowship Group meets every Thursday Evening from 8:30 pm to 9:45 pm in the lower level and on Friday morning from 7:00 am to 8:30 am in the Parish Life Center of the church. All men of the parish are invited for food, fellowship, and personal witness. After a main speaker, small group discussions are formed.
This is a ministry to hurting marriages. In a troubled union, it seeks to create a new spirit of love, communication, forgiveness, healing, understanding, and trust.
